A prominent landmark in the city of Hong Kong, the Bank of China Tower stands as a unique structure that graces the city's skyline with it's triangular facade all around the building, giving the tower it's distinctive appearance. The tower is the headquarters of the Bank of China, one of Asia's largest financial institutions.

Construction of the tower began in 1985 following much controversy over the design; Feng Shui practitioners did not like the sharp-edged design motif, arguing that the tower resembles a meat-cleaver from certain angles. Despite that however, the tower was completed & opened in 1990, and was the tallest building in Asia until 1992. The tower stands at a height of 367 meters, has a floor count of 70, and has 49 lifts.

Tourists visiting Hong Kong can get a good view of the city via the observation deck on the 43rd floor.

The Bank of China Tower stands as a great landmark in one of the world's leading financial centers & shopping destinations, and as undeniably one of the most unique skyscrapers in the world.
